Triangulate
Marc Karzen /// TRIANGULATION
I’m building an "experiential" project that works in books, on walls, printed, projected, has musical elements, maybe animation and a few more ideas.
TRIANGULATION expands the invisible visual energies between elements in my images, using hand drawn pen, ink, paint and collage overlays.
Triangulation is a method of using multiple viewpoints or techniques to find a location, validate data, or understand a visual concept, drawing from a geometry-based definition of locating a point by forming triangles. In other contexts, it can refer to a psychological dynamic involving people or a strategy of appealing to a broad center.
Beyond the geometric intricacies lies the unspoken dialogue between subjects, a silent exchange of emotions and energies that transcends the confines of the frame. Each gesture and each glance, becomes a magnetic connection of the narrative, weaving a tapestry of contrasts. In the landscape, visual triangulations unfold, as a meditation on the interplay of elements.
