École de Paris
Au début du XXe siècle, Paris attire de plus en plus d'artistes du monde entier et est le centre des principales innovations de l'art moderne. Le terme « École de Paris » est né pour décrire ce phénomène.
Marc installe à Paris pour étudier à la Sorbonne pendant un semestre à l'étranger et abandonne ses études pour créer un portfolio et se lancer dans une carrière de photographe de mode. C'est la première fois qu'il y retourne après sa naissance. Il a quitté Paris avant l'âge d'un an, avec ses parents américains.
Émilie étudie la peinture à l'École des Beaux-Arts. Un jour, on lui demande de poser pour des photos de référence pour des tableaux. Cela lui permet de gagner suffisamment d'argent pour subvenir à ses besoins, mais cela entre en conflit avec ses horaires scolaires. À contrecœur, elle décide d'abandonner ses études et commence à travailler pour une agence de mannequins. Émilie est née et a grandi en Afrique, où son père était ambassadeur de France.
À l'agence, Émilie rencontre Marc, qui cherche un mannequin à photographier pour réaliser des photos tests pour leurs portfolios respectifs. En 2024, ils se sont reconnectés.

In the early years of the twentieth century, Paris became a magnet for artists from all over the world and the focus of the principal innovations of modern art – the term School of Paris grew up to describe this phenomenon.
Marc moved to Paris to attend the Sorbonne for a semester abroad and dropped-out to make a photo portfolio to start a career as a fashion photographer. This was the first time he'd been back after being born there. He left Paris before he was a year old, with his American parents.
Emilie attended École des Beaux Arts as a painter. One day, she's asked to model for reference photos for some paintings. This lead to her making enough money to support herself, but conflicted with her school schedule. She very reluctantly decided to drop-out and started working with a model agency. Emilie was born and raised in Africa where her father was a French ambassador.
At the model agency, Emilie meets Marc, who was there looking for a model who he could photograph to make test photos for their mutual portfolios. In 2024, they reconnected.
