Marc Karzen's Relish is a digital production company with extensive experience in TV series development, production, post production, motion graphics, promos, presentations, integration, branding, marketing, sites, social media and viral video distribition. Karzen has worked on over 80 different television series.

Karzen's advertising experience includes staff positions at Grey Advertising (NYC), TDI (CBS Outdoor-NYC) with clients including American Express, Apple, General Mills, MCI, Nextel, Samsung, Mitsubishi, Coca Cola and more.

Karzen returned to his birthplace of Paris for a semester abroad at the Sorbonne where he jump started his career as a fashion photographer (Elle, Depeché Mode, Votré Beaute, Marie-France, 20Ans) shuttling between London (Harpers & Bazaar, Company) and Milan until moving to NYC at age 23. Continuing with magazines (Mademoiselle, Seventeen, Glamour, GQ) and in music (Rolling Stone Magazine, CBS Records, EMI) and editorial news for Outline and Gamma–Liaison (New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Newsweek).

Karzen’s work in television began with the main titles for SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (12 seasons, main titles, interstitials, faux-spots, graphics, sets, props) and a 10 years staff position creating award winning work for NBC'S LATE NIGHT WITH DAVID LETTERMAN (main titles, interstitials, bumpers, graphics). Karzen produced the award-winning PBS documentary ON ASSIGNMENT about 4 photojournalists (Alfred Eisenstaedt: Life Magazine, David Burnett: Contact, Jodi Cobb: National Geographic, Jay Mather: Courier Journal).

On Madison Avenue was Creative Director at TDI, now CBS Outdoor, Art Director at Grey Entertainment & Media for ABC Entertainment fall campaign and new show launches (Max Headroom, thirtysomething, Full House, MOW's) and Radio City Music Hall. In NYC, projects for MTV, Showtime, HBO, Nick-At-Night, American Express and represented as a commercial director with R/GA.

Karzen served as Creative Director at Jacobs & Gerber, now Planet 3 Entertainment (CBS Entertainment and Paramount Domestic Television), then spun-off the first ever 1-stop digital creative production shop in Hollywood Karzen Communications, followed by Qstudios (live-action production company), Thunder Music, The Hatchery (digital animatics) for entertainment clients creating visual effects, commercials, main titles, promos including CBS, ABC, FOX, WB, UPN, Disney, Disney Channel, Warner Bros and a list of advertising agencies (see Relish ad agency list).

DIGITAL 1.0... Karzen was one of the original beta tester/developers of QUICKTIME technology for Apple Computers, Adobe (Premiere, After Effects), Radius (firewire) and delivered the first ever TV spot created completely on a Macintosh put to tape which aried on E! Entertainment. Karzen also created one of the first Apple Quicktime Networks as well as the the iTunes Celebrity Playlist. Karzen founded SADDLETUDE, the online video network for equestrian sports which produced TV specials, direct-to-video, closed-circuit events and over 300 live webcasts (Olympics, World Equestrian Games, England, France, Ireland, Spain, Dubai, entire USA).

Karzen produced web series and digital special events including the NEW YEARS EVE SPECIAL for YouTube, Warner Music Group with the FLAMING LIPS with special guests.

Karzen was supervising producer for ONLINE NATION pilot for The CW, directed and produced the documentary STEEPLECHASE for OLN, the US POLO CHAMPIONSHIPS for Fox Sports Net and directed other specials and short films.

Marc Karzen is creator and executive producer of STRINGERS in association with ABC Media for TRUTV, the reality action drama series about independent news cameramen.
